How Berries Stack Up

Researchers measure the antioxidant power of foods using an analysis called oxygen radical absorbance capacity (ORAC). Berries are among the top-ranking foods, scoring higher than most other fruits and vegetables, including nutritional powerhouses like oranges (2,540 ORM') and spinach (1,056 ORAC). Plus, they're low in calories and high in fiber.
