HEALING OR HARMFUL? (Part 6)

What’s insured

So what if something does happen? It’s vital to make sure the centre is insured. And personal travel insurance is an essential. ‘Never travel without it’ says Wall. Check if you’re covered for alternative activities, too. ‘Travel policies will cover you for the unforeseen and unexpected,’ says Malcolm Tarling, of the Association Of British Insurers (ABI). ‘That may not include treatments, especially medical-type ones.’

Of course, in the vast majority of cases, nothing will go wrong and you’ll have a great holiday. But to make sure of this, do take time to check out out all the options. ‘Getting pampered and getting into shape while discovering new cultures has to the best kind of holiday ever,’ says Duckett. ‘It’s just worth playing it safe and investing time in making your choice.’
